During a first consultation your doctor will explain every possible option of your treatment. You will learn all details about straightening the teeth, including the length of your treatment. The coordinator of your treatment (Mgr. Matej Suchy) will show you types of braces suitable for you, their price and ways of paying for the treatment.

First phase of orthodontic treatment:

Straightening your teeth into a correct position is a first phase of treatment. Usual length of treatment is 1-2 years. The length of treatment depends on difficulty of the treatment, type of chosen braces, as well as on patient (going to check-ups, using  intermaxillary elastics , cleaning teeth).

Second phase of treatment, retention phase:

The teeth need to be retained in their new position and to prevent them from going back. Our teeth keep moving during our life because of the process of ageing, that's why it is important to hold them by using a fixed and removable retainers. The second phase starts after debonding braces and it lasts whole life. The key period is first two years after debonding braces.
